The two priests Fr John Kuziona and Fr Cornelius Manyungwa celebrated their silver Jubilee, while Fr Montfort Mvonye celebrated his golden jubilee. Currently, Fr Mvonye is at Pius XII Seminary  while Fr Kuziona and Manyungwa are parish priests of Lunzu and Bangwe respectively. In his speech, Archbishop Msusa hailed the three priests as role models to other clergy and urged them to continue serving the Lord and the Archdiocese with much dedication. His Grace also advised other priests in the Archdiocese to be exemplary when discharging their duties to the people they are serving. Archbishop Msusa also thanked Blantyre Archdiocese faithful for remaining committed in taking good care of their priests and urged them to continue doing so. Speaking on behalf of priests, Fr Kuziona thanked God for seeing the three of them all the years in priesthood, stressing the road was full of ups and downs. He said God continue to show his greatness by keeping them alive to mark 25 and 50 years in priesthood. “It is a pity that out of the five priests in our group, who were ordained together by the late Bishop James Chiona only three are still alive. In our journey we were eight of us but it sad that we lost five of our colleagues. May their Souls Rest in eternal peace,” said Fr Kuziona. After the mass, there was a luncheon inside the Limbe Cathedral Hall where the jubilant priests and His Grace Msusa cut the jubilee cake.
